I first took a class with Natalie during the first lockdown. I’ve never really made sugar flowers. I always thought they weren’t really my thing (and far too difficult to make!). Natalie has such a clear concise but super friendly teaching style not only does it make learning the flowers easy but her enthusiasm rubs off and just wants you to make more and more. First started to watch Natalie during lock down and have been there most Sunday evenings since .I booked a class and now do flower of the month class fantastic to watch and the printouts are great plus I can watch them again if I get a bit stuck while doing the flowers ,both Natalie and Chris are a great couple to deal with nothing is ever to much trouble for them and go out of their way to help , would highly recommend any of Natalie’s classes

I booked onto February’s flower class and as I’m completely new to flowers I found it really enjoyable and relaxing as Natalie is an awesome teacher with flowers and colours and she is so clear with everything she tells you, all your fears are just blown away when you start a flower class with her. I have been joining Natalie Porter and Chris Porter for almost a year when she started doing free evening tutorials twice a week, and I have just loved making the lovely flowers she teaches. They are such a lovely couple, they work well together and have kept a lot of us sane during this awful year we have gone through. We often have a laugh or two, with a cheeky comment here and there. I signed up for Natalie’s Monthly Flower Club and look so forward to each class at the end of the month. Natalie is an amazing teacher always calm and clear and makes sure every detail is explained thoroughly so whether you’re a beginner or just wanting to add to your flower skills you will love her classes. So much effort and detail is placed in each class by Natalie and Chris the pdfs, equipment list and the detailed instructions. Natalie is so approachable and also helpful on giving advice making sure we don’t unnecessarily spend on equipment and how to reuse what we can. Each class is recorded, and you have access for life which is so useful. The members of the class are so encouraging as well.

I am a hobby baker making for friends and family and as such I find it hard to rationalise the costs sometimes associated with online flower courses and the cutters and veiners that you need. Natalie’s courses are always clear, full of beautifully detailed PDF instructions with lots of photos and ideas for how to dust up in fabulous colour ways and…. they won’t break the bank either! Lots of different ways to use the equipment you have invested in so you get the maximum benefit. Fabulous results and guidance in putting whole arrangements together too. Can’t recommend them enough.

I love the monthly classes, you don’t tell us to buy the most expensive cutters, etc out there and give alternatives that can be used. I especially like when something goes a little bit wrong to prove you are just human like the rest of us. Everything is informative from the downloads to the video, its clear to follow so anybody from beginner to expert can produce something that looks amazing.

Natalie is the queen of colour. Her books are so worth getting for the amazing information.
I did the delphinium & stock class with her recently and it well exceeded expectations. What an amazing group this is. I couldn’t even think about making flowers until I saw natalie on a sugar and crumbs tutorial . I bought her books and flower cutters. I made my first flowers about 6 years ago. Since then I have made a few on and off, trying to figure things out on the go. Then I met Natalie (online anyways) and she changed my flower-life. I have been doing a few classes with her since last year and now I’m hooked and can hardly stop. Natalie’s video classes and the accompanying instructions are fantastic and easy to follow. I have learnt so much and it’s fun every time. The picture shows the first flowers I ever made on the left and some recent ones on the right, which I probably would have never attempted without Natalie’s classes. So thank you so much .

Well what can I say about the lovely Natalie Porter……. An absolute gem of a human being. Knowledgeable, intelligent and an extremely talented lady with whole lot of humble thrown in.Her classes are informative, engaging and very professionally executed. She takes you through from beginning to end at a methodical pace explaining the whys and hows and the reasoning for colours. Along with the live classes are accompanied well written and illustrated pdf files.

Both Natalie and her husband Chris are very approachable and make you feel at ease. I highly recommend her classes and her way of teaching.

Not only are Immaculate Confections’ products great but so are Natalie and Chris Porter, offering a personal, professional service that is difficult to find these days. They are so generous with their time and Natalie’s live Facebook sessions on a Sunday night are are delight. I’ve now purchased a number of Immaculate Confections products and have been very happy with all of them. The dusting brushes are brilliant – comfortable to hold, super soft bristles that hold the dust and because they are white you can easily see which brush to use with which colour. I’m building up quite a collection! Natalie’s Little Book of Colour is fast becoming my go-to colour mixing bible – written in an easy to follow style it opens up a world of new colours to the cake maker. I’m also loving the little pots of dusting powder – cleverly packaged in complementary colour groups they are filled to the brim and a delight to use. They mix well allowing you to create a new shade easily and brush on beautifully. I’m finding a little goes a very long way! Oh, and the metallics are fabulous – love the Antique Rose. Natalie’s Rapid Rose system is a game changer when it comes to making roses – saving loads of precious time and they look amazing too! And if you are looking to get some quality teaching, Immaculate Confections Monthly Flower Club classes are excellent. Natalie has an easy-going style and is brilliant at explaining techniques. Natalie and Chris have a lovely rapport with their customers, so much so that you no longer feel like a customer but part of a very supportive club!

I had no hesitation in joining the Monthly Flower Club to learn how to make the wonderful collection of flowers. Natalie’s classes are fun and so well thought out with everything explained clearly and in detail. To start with you receive an equipment list. Most of the items form a basic tool kit, but you may need a specific type of cutter, but don’t worry all of these items can be purchased from Immaculate Confections and are reasonably priced (Natalie will also try to utilise these cutters for different flower types where possible). Next, you will be given access to the live video class. This can be watched on the day and also be viewed again and again so that you can work through the lesson at your own pace and have it as a continued reminder. To supplement this, Natalie also provides in-depth PDF notes for you to keep at your side for reference. They are beautifully prepared with coloured illustrations and are so easy to follow. On top of all of this Natalie and her husband Chris are there to support you on your journey of sugar flower making along with a wonderful, supportive community of fellow students. I can really recommend these classes – you will really enjoy them and learn so much.
